Sometimes when vada takes naps on me and has puppy dreams I just think about how much I love her and wonder if this is how people feel about their human children. Like, to borrow a phrase from mariannepants, watching her sleep on me makes my heart sing.

And then I wonder if I’m crazy. Don’t care. I love her and the next few months are going to be shitty without her. Enjoying these moments while I can so I can hang on to them until she comes home to me.
