Meaning
A silly premise that some religionists clutch: that atheists “don’t believe in anything”. False like the idea that atheists think we “evolved from rocks”.
I believe in life on Earth, right now. I beileve in my own mind, and I find meaning in music. I love innovation.
I believe that my own happiness is my ultimate goal — and that living for God, for the white race, for the ecosphere, or any other so-called “higher” entity is a vicious act of self-betrayal.
If something I do makes you happy, that’s cool. It makes me smile. I like making things that people like — it’s a good way to make a living.
I liked this thought behind this post a lot. thought i would share it with my tumblr readers.
