hey tumblr,

i haven’t been checking you. things have been good for me lately. i have been spending my free time around friends and reading. i spent a good number of years not reading enough and now that i’ve started again i am feeling this fresh surge of creativity. i am writing again and coming up with art projects. i am just filled with ideas!

sorry for neglecting you, but for the time being checking tumblr just doesn’t fit into my life. i have been trying to check up on most of you guys from time to time but i haven’t allowed myself to fall into the k hole that is my dash. if anything important happens send me an e-mail.

hey tumblr. i haven’t really checked you since i moved back to denver. sorry. did i miss anything important?

i don’t know what to say really. i am working full time in a salon and part time back at sweet action. i moved into my house last week and it’s so nice to be living somewhere that i know i don’t have to leave for a whole year, hopefully longer. making lots of really fun decorating plans with my roommates. there may be a chevron painted floor in our sunroom in the near future. 

i have mostly just been working and hanging out and trying to adjust to life back in denver. vada is coming soooooon ish and i really just can’t wait. 

a lot has happened and at the same time nothing really at all. 

thinking of joining okcupid so i can just troll myself and anyone that contacts me.

the 90’s

I am driving to Pittsburgh tomorrow to see a Denver friend, check out cool museums and most importantly, attend a 90s dance party. Today I got a silver mini backpack at goodwill that is so tiny I think it might have come on a doll or is meant for babies. It’s glorious. I will also be wearing my heeled clear glitter jelly sandals… and my sister still has my old crimper that is FROM THE 90s so obviously I am using that.

Since I am driving all the way there I will probably have to rock this look all day long. Get ready for me Pittsburgh.

I am pretty excited. It’s the first time I am actually getting to go out since being back in the USA. 

Then when I come home on Sunday I am going bowling with my family for mothers day and then it’s only 4 more days until Kim comes and we go to Chicago/head home to Denver and back to real life again. I can’t wait.
