I write about things. Mostly fashion and stuff I want and things I do.

So for Christmas Andy got me an amazing Pamela Love ring that sadly didn’t fit my fatty fingers SO I had to return it for store credit but couldn’t afford anything else by Pamela Love that they carry and while I love the clothes at this store, I can’t really afford them either BUT they carry a small selection of Karen Walker sunnies, aka dream sunnies, and I just found out that they can order me the pair I want and they will be on my face by the end of the week. Hooray!!

Vintage shoe of the week: No. 243

dudes this acne jumper is ON MY RADAR. I went into the store a couple of weekends ago and practically fainted in the doorway when I saw all of the different mint coloured things. it was like my monochromatic outfit dreams were coming true right before my eyes.
things i also love: solestruck and their tumblr. those woven shoes, which i have a bunch of for sale at work and are so cute, this whole outfit. minus the booty shorts because who are we kidding?

The Vintage Cauldron

Hello Tumblrs!

Please go buy vintage from my friend Kim so she can buy a plane ticket to come hang out with me. It’s amazing stuff and she offers free local pick up in Denver and also ships to Australia/anywhere else in the world.

My dad used tell me that these were ancient hieroglyphics when I found them camping as a kid. This went on for like…too many years. I was/am so gullible. But that’s the first thing I think of whenever I see these. Ha.

Taken from the Honest Girl Scouts campaign. For a campaign trying to get people /not/ to buy cookies and /not/ support the GSUSA, this is doing an awful lot to suddenly make me want /to/ support the GSUSA. (and I’m saying this a a former Girl Scout of about 6 years who hasn’t bought cookies in years because they’re too expensive).

I see so much acceptance here, and especially in a time in children’s lives where acceptance is so important, taking that away from them is just cruel.

If you don’t have a niece or young neighbor, plug in your ZIP code here to find a pro-abortion feminist-minded little girl to sell you some sweet, sweet progressive cookies.

Normally I don’t reblog stuff like this because I try not to get all political on this blog and just keep it light but I have to say that I am damn proud to have been a Girl Scout from Daisy to Cadet. Proud of the girls that are helping to make all these good things happen, not the girls leaving because of it, or the parents that are making them. I learned a lot in my time as a Girl Scout and I have actually been contemplating becoming a troop leader (if they let me?) because of how much I loved it. Now I am more motivated to contact my local Girl Scout office to see where I can help.
